Free screensaver dedicated to Eadweard J Muybridge's 182nd birthday and more

April 9, 2012 is Eadweard J Muybridge's 182nd birthday, and we have decided to create a screensaver dedicated to this English photographer and the inventor of moving Picture.

In addition we added some more new screensavers. You can view and download them from our All free screensavers page.

Also we have updated our Wallpapers section and released beautiful nature wallpapers and wallpapers dedicated to Easter. 

PS: bad links of nfsFirePlace3D (for pc) and nfsColorBackground5 clock screensaver for mac are corrected.

New Free wallpapers and a tip: How to Make a Desktop Wallpaper a Screensaver

Hello dear friends,

We have updated our collection of wallpapers. As usual you can preview and download them from our Wallpapers page. iPad owners, please, select 1280x 1024 resolution. Please watch our video tutorial to learn how to download and install a wallpaper on your iPad.

Also today we want to give you a new tip related both screensavers and wallpapers: how to make a desktop wallpaper a screensaver.
So let`s get started:
1) It is necessary to create a special folder and save the picture (your wallpaper) to that folder. You may use “My pictures” folder, but do not forget to delete other files from it, otherwise they will be shown as a screensaver too.
2) Open the "Control Panel" by clicking on "Start”.
3) Next step depends on your Operation system. If you use XP, click Display Properties. If you use Vista, click Personalization icon.
4) Select the Screensaver tab, and select the screensaver you want to use from the drop-down menu. In our case it is called My Pictures Slideshow or Photos or it may have a name you gave to it.
5) After that click Settings and click OK to confirm your changes.

Now you can set any wallpaper from www.newfreescreensavers.com as a screensaver.

New Nature Wallpapers.

Hello everybody,
Today we offer a big update of our collection of Wallpapers. This time you will find wallpapers featuring nature views, mountains, flowers, berries and mushrooms.
All wallpapers are available in four resolutions: 1024x768, 1280x1024, 1680x1050, 1920x1080.
Just select a wallpaper you like, select your resolution and click on it. When the image has fully loaded right-click on it once again. In a pull-down menu window select “Set as a background or wallpaper”. A selected image should now appear as your desktop wallpaper.  
Note: Sometimes it is necessary to save a picture to your PC, then open it and after that select “Set as a background or wallpaper” in a pull-down menu window.
